The Adventures of Pinocchio and Pisa

After a four hour trip from Rome, we landed in the land of Pisa, Italy. Although Pisa is considered one of the smallest cities in Tuscany, it has historically been one of the most important and influential. The most famous part of Pisa of course would have to be the Leaning Tower!

On part that is beautiful in its own right, but tends to be overshadowed by the Leaning Tower of Pisa is the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta seen below.

Another site to see just across from the Leaning Tower of Pisa is the Baptistery pictured below.

Got to see my dear old friend who happens to have a rich Italian history!

Lastly, there are also many vendors to pick up all your pastas and goods, but remember to wait until you get to Florence for your leather.

There's plenty more to do in this little city, so consider spending a full day there if you can!
